Today has been yet another lazy day..... well i didn't sit around all day we did some general cleaning James helped my dad put up some shelves and we also put up a mirror in our room (our temporary humble room at my parents). Flat hunting is still in progress!! first step is to start the job then next step is flat hunting!!

We watch Megamind today.. it was funny but not the best and last night (more like 5 am in the morning) I watched Salt now I must say Im not into action movies but found it very entertaining!! James and I are now contemplating on what to watch it is now it is almost 2.30 a.m. I think we both suffer from insomnia!! hmmm not good for me as I will be starting work on monday so tomorrow night I will need to sleep early!!! wish me luck!!!

Tomorrow is going to consist of more chillaxin... cause yes as I mentioned monday is the big day!! I´m abit nervous... but i'll let you all know how it goes!! Im trying to figure out what to wear on my first day to work.... I wanna where my overknee boots (still need to upload a picture) but I think it might be too slippery as the snow is melting oh well we shall see!!

It scares me that Im not tired at all and no one in the house seems to be tired either lol.. everyone is sitting either with a computer infront of the television or playing on their Iphones or Ipods... hmmmm... something definately wrong with this picture :P!!! why isn´t anyone tired???? 

before I forget to mention it I joined twitter..... @mrs_retrato add me or follow me.. I mean still getting used to the whole twitter lingo and have no clue how to use it just curious about it!!

Today I was also able to chat to my sister in law and my nephews and nieces inlaw.. i miss them so much! they are all going to the Philippines tomorrow for 3 months!!! Im so jealous wish I could go!!!

Friday.... I think...

Since not working i have lost track of days!! When working Fridays become the favourite day of your week! I'm sure in the next couple of weeks I will be saying TGIF!! hehe!! 

So today today I woke up at midday!!! ahh gonna miss waking my lie ins!! hehe! I went to see my lovely friend Elahe and her son Vincent the cutie pie!!! it was good to see her we literally live 3 minutes away from eachother but since Ive been ill I havent been able to see them in over a week! as always we ended up just sitting and chatting away while she was feeding vincent and drinking our apple cinnamon tea (have to try it its heavenly)!!! 

 For those who dont know Elahe and I have known each other since we were 12 we lost contact for awhile whilst I was in London but we got in touch again a few years back!! everytime we are together we still act as if we are 14 years old hahah.. we still talk about the backstreet boys lol! (no joke).... 

Now Im back at home its 4 p.m and its really dark outside feels like its bedtime again! tonight Im going to try to sleep earlier!!  well thats it for me now! I´ll leave you with a pic of Vincent!!!  I took it from Elahes blog!!

I realise that I am late with my updates but here we go!!

This year new years eve was spent with family!!! We spent the evening at my aunts place!! James was the chef for the evening.. amazing menu the whole evening just consisted of eating!!!

I've attached a few photos from the evening!! We all went out to the field in our local area to go watch the fireworks we didnt buy any ourselves this year!! it was lovely as the clock struck 12 the snow fell from the sky and we all started throwing ourselves into the snow fun times! although I think all this play in the snow resulted in me getting ill!!! but all worth it I guess! so I leave you with a few pictures from new years eve!

I´m back!

So yes I know I haven't been very good at updating my blog.. think i haven´t updated since christmas or even before that! so as you all know James is in Sweden! so we can count that as one of the reasons why I haven't updated my blog so I will have to do it all retrospectively! obviously not every day since christmas but I guess the highlights but ill do that in a separate.

now let me just brief you on the past couple of days!! So after the new years I got ill. Got all feverish and achy so was bed bound for a couple of days!! since then i think my body has just been recovering. I am taking advantage of my last week of being able to sleep till noon! next week Im back to business!!! its been 3 months since I have been working so its gonna be exciting! Im a little nervous but more excited!! i do hope that snow settles a little before then i woke up to a mild snow storm this morning!!!

quick update!

I have been really rubbish at blogging for the past week!! Ive got alot to update on but will not do it now as I am on my way out ! Gonna go sign a contract with unilever so it will all be official!! wohoo!!

update

So here is an update of my weekend! On saturday I ended up going food shopping with my parents!!! I think we bought food to feed a million people (please note this is an exageration but its alot of food)!!! When I got back it was time for me to prepare for my friend kattis party!!! I dont have a pic of the outfit for the evening but it was kindly provided to me by couture de Eli!! :)! 

The night was great lots of drinking and seeing people from the past of course I got drunk!! very drunk indeed!!! We had so much fun that I didnt event realise what time it was! we had arrived there at 10 pm in the evening and we ended u taking the first bus home which was just before 6 am in the morning! I had not done an all nighter in awhile!! didn´t know i still had it in me!! 

As you all no too much alcohol results in suffering the next day which I did big time!!! my head my body bllaaaaaa!! and the thought of never again!! (we all know it will happen again)!!! Anyways apart from the terrible hangover James flight got cancelled and made me very sad the thought of him not coming home for Christmas dawned on me. But my husband being the great networker that he is managed to get on a flight this morning soo lucky as all the flights after his were cancelled!!

It was surreal seeing James again!! !10 weeks apart we were both emotional when we saw each other!! Im not letting him out of my sight!!! lol

I dont have any pictures to upload promise to upload some very soon! some from the weekend shananigans!! :)
