quick update!

I have been really rubbish at blogging for the past week!! Ive got alot to update on but will not do it now as I am on my way out ! Gonna go sign a contract with unilever so it will all be official!! wohoo!!

update

So here is an update of my weekend! On saturday I ended up going food shopping with my parents!!! I think we bought food to feed a million people (please note this is an exageration but its alot of food)!!! When I got back it was time for me to prepare for my friend kattis party!!! I dont have a pic of the outfit for the evening but it was kindly provided to me by couture de Eli!! :)! 

The night was great lots of drinking and seeing people from the past of course I got drunk!! very drunk indeed!!! We had so much fun that I didnt event realise what time it was! we had arrived there at 10 pm in the evening and we ended u taking the first bus home which was just before 6 am in the morning! I had not done an all nighter in awhile!! didn´t know i still had it in me!! 

As you all no too much alcohol results in suffering the next day which I did big time!!! my head my body bllaaaaaa!! and the thought of never again!! (we all know it will happen again)!!! Anyways apart from the terrible hangover James flight got cancelled and made me very sad the thought of him not coming home for Christmas dawned on me. But my husband being the great networker that he is managed to get on a flight this morning soo lucky as all the flights after his were cancelled!!

It was surreal seeing James again!! !10 weeks apart we were both emotional when we saw each other!! Im not letting him out of my sight!!! lol

I dont have any pictures to upload promise to upload some very soon! some from the weekend shananigans!! :)

I hate snow!!

at ths very moment I am hating snow!!!! I just checked all flights from london they have cancelled most flights!!!! not now snow!!!!! grrrrrrr!! I want to see my husband!!!!!!

Today I did all the laundry!! its weird now that I don´t need to stress over about find a job!! I can just simply enjoy my time off have a nice lie in without feeling guilty! after the laundry was done I went to see Elahe and her gorgeous son Vincent he is so cute!!! I wanna bit him!!!! 

Elahe and I are not very good diet buddies! hahaha! At the moment there is this delicious Christmas loaf that taste like gingerbread (and she always has a loaf at home) and its so addictive plus the cinnamon and apple tea yum!!!!  I not hard to convince when it comes to food lol!! 

I love living so close to friends hopefully we will be able to find a flat in the same area so we can be close to friends and family!!! so fingers crossed for that!

LOL just watch ELF ! I love that movie I laugh just thinking about it!!! hahahahhahaha!!! and then on another channel they were showing The notebook another all time favourite but didnt watch that cause I really dont feel like crying buckets tonight especially because I am missing my husband sooo much!!!

2 more sleeps!!

yes indeed its down to 2 more sleeps now!! or really its like 1 1/2 sleeps as I will be going to my friends kattis birthday tomorrow and yeah probably do an all nighter wohoooo!!!

soon i will be reunite with my hubby!! I can not wait!!! we have been apart for 10 weeks!!

Today it is my dear friend Kattis!!! we have known each other for 10 years going onto 11 next summer!!! It seems like yesterday when we met and she lent me the tiniest towel when we went to camp lol!!! Tomorrow we will be celebrating!!!wohooo!!!!!

Dylans Candy Bar!!!

I was gonna post this yesterday! So when I was in New York and Florida I remember visiting Dylans candy Bar. Its a candy store (stating the obvious). You see Im a big fan of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory and this store reminds me so much of the movie! I guess that was the inspiration for it! For those that don´t know the founder of Dylans candy bar is Ralph Laurens daughter!!!! wish i had come up with this concept!!!! Anyways apart from their delicious candy/sweets they also have lotions/lip glosses/soaps and you guessed it candy scented ones!!  HEAVEN for me someone with a sweet tooth anything that looks like candy or is sweet! I love I love !! hahaah ok that made no sense but me loves!!!  so here are a few things that I would love to purchase!! :)!

3 more sleeps and just randomness!!!

Just three more sleeps until I am reunited with my husband I cant wait!! At the moment I have been apartment hunting its a bit of a process cause apartments to rent a pretty scarce in Stockholm and you just need to be careful that you don´t get cheated!!! but we have a few prospects :)!!

This morning I went with my mum to her school!! hehe got to meet all her classmates and they were preparing for their christmas performance!

So Ive got 3 weeks until I start my new job so Im making the most of my time off! enjoying watching daytime tv! Im watching OPRAH at the moment! Its the episode when the whole twilight cast is on there hehe!!! these women are crazy!!!!

hmmm what else there is a snow storm at the moment!!

ok gonna watch Oprah now :)! hahhaa twi-mums!! wow! lol!

So as most of you may have gathered it is cold here in sweden! well its not that cold today its probably about -6 ok for people in UK this may sound cold but -6 is such a big difference  to -20 lol!! my poor husband I dont know how he is gonna react to the cold. anyways there is one thing I need well really want thing I want to keep me warm this winter!! Its a wooly hat!! its soo cute and wintery!! ive attached a picture of it!! I want it but its quite pricey for a hat!!! its christmas soon so *hint* hint*

Yesterday and Today!!!!

I didn´t get a chance to write a blog yesterday well actually honestly I  just couldnt be bothered haha!!
I had an early start yesterday morning! I had a job interview at 8-30 a.m. For those who know me you know i hate being late or stressing so I left extra early like 2 hours early and in theory it only takes 45 minutes to get to the place from where I live but I would rather wait around and know where Im going then rushing and stressing and running around like a headless chicken! I am very much the same when I have a flight to catch I HAVE to (ask my husband) be there at the airport least 3 hrs before a flight otherwise I will be stressing and crying lol!!!

The interview was with Unilever!! the people that interviewed me were so nice!!! Interview was in swedish believe it of not after spending 8 years in the UK I kinda struggle with my swedish however I speak perfect swenglish/svengelska (swedish+english)!! and I was pretty nervous and a bit cautious over what I was saying!!

having an early interview meant I was home back home early!! luckily Elahe was off so we chilled talked for abit then decided to go to the local Farsta (our local mall). We ended up eating lebanese buffet!! hence me and her both being on a "diet"!! then walked around for a bit window shopped and we picked up a few bits and bobs!! :)! then it was time for "Fika" (coffee/teabreak) at waynes coffee!! Elahe ordered the most delicious white chocolate merangue cake!! um did I mention that we are on a diet ?? lol!!

Anyways... so I finally started reading breaking dawn!! and what had planned to be an early night turned into a usual late night and without realising I was 300 pages into the book! lol! sad! I havent bothered reading the other twilight saga books cause I have already seen the movie  so I thought I would read this one before the movie comes out!!! I started understanding the whole fascination about edward although I have not been converted. I dont think I will be having any freakish fantasies about vampires like certain people i know lol!!!!

FAST FORWARD to today.... woke up at about 9ish from a phonecall.. I was a bit anxious so I didnt pick up!! was not in the mood for rejection in the morning but then it rang a second time same number I thought hmmm maybe I should pick it up and good thing I did!! so yeah they told me the interview went well and I GOT THE JOB!!! they are going to call me back for the exact start date :)!! exciting!!! All I wanted was to have a job before James come so perfect timing!!! only 5 more days to go!!!!!!!!!!!!

so that is it for now!! :)!!!

Ikea julbord!!

Yesterday we went to Ikea!! when i say we i mean my mum, dad, kristine and adnan (Kristines boyfriend).  Just picked up a few things and some ikea sweets aswell (so much for my diet) gingerbread toffee mmmm!!! Ive put those in the christmas stocking so those calories will be consumed on christmas eve!
Anyways in ikea they had a great deal!! for 79 kr (8 quid) you get a  christmas buffe!!! (again so much for my pre xmas diet)!!! it was lovely!! I love swedish christmas food!! we call it "julbord" a direkt translation would be christmas table however a more appropriate translation is christmas buffe!!

My dad bout huge christmas lights to have outside on the balcony!! a big snowman and a big candle! We are a bit christmas crazy in our family!! I´ll post pictures of it when I can!!

we also bought kattis birthday gift!! im sure she will love it!! well she better!! ooo and yes ive prety much done all my christmas shopping!!!

So this blog is really random but I have to end this by saying! only 7 more days ti james comes this time next week!! we will be having dinner together!!! love it love it love it!!!

Dear diary.... Kristine is a Lier!!!!

Since being back home I have been able to go through some of my old stuff!!!! amongst photos and letters I also found my diary..... here is an extract from my diary I have also typed up what was written.

March 1995

I am very angry at Kristine you just say a little word she will get angry and she will say that she has got candy. Lier.  She is liar. A BIG one too. The biggest liar for a 9 year old. 

I wish I had found this before my wedding this would have been great in my speech!!!!!!!!  hahha I love my ousin!!!  I cannot stop laughing everytime I read this!!! this went on for 3 more pages!!!! hehe!!

waiting game.......

Today I was waiting for a letter to inform me when the boxes are going to be delivered. These boxes contain mine and James stuff from London!! umm well i think its mainly my stuff!!! Typical that I sat at home all day waiting for this only to find out that they will be coming tomorrow instead and so another day and they cant give me a specific time either they said it could be anytime between 8 am to 4pm !!!!! and I had planned to spend the day with my dear friend Elahe she is desperately trying to convert me into a twilight/vampire diaries fan!! don´t get me wrong I do enjoy the twilight series just not that much into it!! heheh!!! 

But back to the waiting game.. so the other thing Im waiting for is a job well Im not waiting for someone to knock on my door but phone calls.. I´ll inform more about the jobfront later dont wanna jinx anything and another thing Im waiting for is my hubbbbbbyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!! I cant wait to see him only 12 days!!!!! I really cant wait!!!

second attempt

This is officially my second attempt to start blogging! I haven´t been very good at it! However I thought it may be worth starting a blog now since I have recently moved from London to Stockholm. Thought maybe it would be a good way for me to update my friends and family in London. 

So ive officially been in Sweden for almost two months. In these two months I have been job hunting (hoping to get something soon) and sorting out things. Its kinda weird starting from scratch again but i wouldnt say its a bad thing. There are sooo many things that I have taken forgranted whilst living in London!! i.e swedish unemployment benefits lol, living standards, the fresh air, tap water. its the little things that I never appreciated before. Its funny cause if you would of asked me to move back to Sweden 2 years ago I would definately had said no and not even consider it!  It has been great being back chilling out with my childhood friends and family it has been great. Whats not been so great is being way from my husband but its not long now!! I cant wait only 12 more days and we will be reunited! I am excited for the new chapter in our lives. 

In a way it is weird being back because after spending 8 years in London it actually became my comfort zone and I am now having to adjust to swedish living standards. Living at home has been fine!! we all alive still!! hehehe

I hope I can update this blog more often! im sure I will cause at the moment I do have alot of free time... well in between job hunting..  Job hunting is actually a job in itself. I´ve been trying to be very disciplined and wake up early to follow up on things!

ok last but not least I have been learning to get used to this winter weather. I must admit it is cold but I think it is beautiful outside!!! the snow makes everything look so beautiful! Im just glad Ive invested in a warm winter jacket :)!!!
